Penn Yan Wooden Boat

Founded by aviation designer Charles A. Herrmann, The Penn Yan Boat Company produced speedboats in the 20s, utility craft for the US Army during WWII, and by 1955 over 167 different models including inboards, outboards, canoes, dinghies, and sailboats. The firm converted to fiberglass in 1966 but it is wooden beauties like this that are prized by collectors.
